Re: [HumJanenge] Disappearing decisions on CIC website

If some Information Commissioner think that he or she has not given given decision according to RTI Act, he will try to block that decision from uploading on the website. Members of different blogs can also inform about ther same if the decisiond of their cases r not uploaded on CIC website.

V can also file RTI to the CIC asking to confirm that all the decisions taken by a particulars date have been uploaded or if not, the maximum time by which they will be uploaded. A decision to this effect to upload all the decisin has already been taken at CIC meeting held in Oct.  Putting all the decisions on the site will also reduce the appeals and complaints to the CIC.

Dear Mr Wajahat,

That is not entirely true !
I have sent you enough evidences of CIC orders which have never been uploaded,
which have been uploaded for a few days and then removed , etc.
Something is messy in all the Registires of the IC's.
Although Diwali is over - and so is the time for Diwali cleaning - maybe someone in CIC should look at "spring cleaning" drive.

By the way, since all decisions are typed on computers, they must be on electronic record and therefore the
list has to be disclosed suo motu under Sec 4(1)(b)(xiv).

I tried and got a very funny reply from CPIO Mr M C  Sharma.
(Language used in the reply clearly belonged to Mr PKPS)
Maybe you will have better luck !

Certainly there are no orders to delete any decison from the website. In fact, every effort has been made as far as I know to display all decisions including those left out by oversight.
What absurd correspondence. You chaps have plenty of time on your hands. So have I, but I've retired.
