[HumJanenge] IMPORTANT MAIL: Group moderating policy for February 2011

To all dear H-J members,

In past 1 month the moderators are focussed on maintaining 300 email limit to this group. In January 2011 about 564 emails were posted to group and 296 emails have been circulated / allowed so far.

To ensure that nobody complains that dissenting emails are not censor, only crticising emails were allowed. This has given wrong impression that 1 senior moderator has no supporters.

We are also seeing that HJ-GG is #1 RTI e-group. RTI4EMPOWERMENT-GG is #2 e-group in terms of messages posted. So from next month (1, FEBRUARY 2011) there will be some new procedures to ensure that there is full and balanced discussion.

1) ONLY THOSE MEMBERS WHO CONSISTENTLY CONTRIBUTE POSITIVE OR IMPORTANT MESSAGE POSTS ON RTI WILL BE RETAINED ON THIS GROUP.

2) MEMBERS WHO CROSSPOST SHALL BE EXPELLED WITHOUT NOTICE.

U R talking about the support, now members do not want to waste their time on this as it is useless.

God knows who are Ssarkara Saints and who r govt. stooges.  Wrong statement that 250 members have supported the proposed statement. S R has recommended to limit words to even 150 words rather 250.  I suggest to recommend '0' word, except address and applicant contact details.  What is your opinion, Roy Sahib.?

I demand to change the name of this grp as Tantrums of S Roy.  It seems that Mr. Wajahat Habibullah rightly call him a great entertainer.

Stop yourselves from giving or reacting to his suggestion to save time otherwise v may become mad.

Firstly, is the language "abusive" ?

Secondly, although I prefer to use the term "booted off", seeing as how these were 'bhookey nangey log", some of them would not know what "getting the boot" meant.

Thirdly, it is the mark of a gentleman to use offensive language against one's inferiors.

Do u think "Bakwaas Email" and "kick you off" type language should be used by a gentleman.
