RICH BUSINESS MEN AND PROFESSIONALS WANT TO BECOME MPS /MINISTERS
AT THE COST OF AAM AADMI
In the last few days, a number of rich business men and professionals, who have hitherto been busy multiplying income and have never been known to be involved in any credible welfare activities for aam aadmi , are now jumping into the band wagon of the media backed aam aadmi party. Obviously, these tribe whose orientation has always been directed towards utilising market opportunities for profit making, see the recent emergence of AAP and the public perception about it being created by media, as an opportunity for promoting themselves to contest elections as AAP candidate and to become MP / minister. They did not think of joining AAP two months back before Delhi elections
AAP, whose ambition seem to be now reaching sky high are looking for candidates with money power to contest elections. The need of AAP and the ambition of rich business men and professionals seem to be elegantly matching. Obviously, the top leadership of AAP want to win as many parliamentary seats as possible exploiting the present public mood and they want candidates who can fund for themselves.
In such scheme of things, where is the aam aadmi ? Will any tea / vegetable vendor or sanitary worker without money power but with genuine national interest in view be entertained by AAP as candidate ? Will any well qualified and well informed person who have no resources be preferred as candidate by AAP ? AAP seems to be moving in the same way as other parties in its approach to choice of candidates.
