[rti_india] Re: RTI Activist Amit Jethwa shot dead

 

I don't think our appreciation of the cituation is correct. He is not
shot for getting the information using RTI. He is shot due to causing
injury to the officer by filing writ petitions against his
appointment. Why blame the RTI ? I doubt whether damage to such
extend inflicted on any RTI Activists just because he has obtained
certain information. The aggrieved develop revenge only on subsequent
actions. Of course such actions causing injury to anyone will
defenitely attract revenge. It is not because he used RTI.
