Five years after it came into being, the Right to Information Act now
has a logo. Minister of State in Prime Minister's Office Prithviraj
Chavan launched this simple-looking symbol that shows a sheet of paper
with 'information' on it being provided by a 'public authority' which
resembles the letter 'i'. The government hopes to increase the
awareness of the RTI Act by popularising this symbol among the masses
