Yeah, its Rs.5,000/- & Rs.1,000/-. But dont they also issue orders to provide you the costs of the proceedings? Heavy compensation for any appeal allowed? Etc. Unlike the CIC etc. these tribunals are claims / dispute settlement ones. There is money involved. Besides there is no fee for most "aam adami" related tribunals like consumer court etc.
