Dear srammitra
The present moderator Ashish is more of a computerboy and believes in programming scripts to filter out the emails to this group without human intervention. As of now the filters block about 8 out of 10 posts by Babubhai and 90% of all other spam. Ashish regularly complains to me that it is because of Yahoo's poor programming platform that 1 out of 10 mails still get through.
The software has been ported by us on the HumJanenge Google Group (much better software possible here). (If there is anybody left who doesn't know where its at - http://groups.google.com/group/humjanenge/ )
Babubhai made his first post there today, and it was successfully blocked. (<hint>: remember to have a "subject" the next time you post there babubhai)
Seriously though. Babubhai Vaghela is an incredible person with great knowledge of practical application of RTI when combined with Freedom of speech and expression. Like many of us he is just whiling away time by filing RTIs / representations etc knowing fully well that nothing results from this. If nothing else the mountains of 'raddi' generated from a single well drafted Rs.10 RTI is enough to supply the fuel needs of a small family for a month.
Many of us are just waiting for the HJ-Google Group's emailing list to be fully ready (2,250 genuine members already and a few more to go). Can you imagine 2,500 indefatigable citizens like Babubhai getting their emails instantly delivered to each other and also 5,000 PIOs/FAAs and over 200 blogs, groups, and mailing list archives with multiple cutouts and relays to make sure the message gets through. Just wait for it !!!
