Re: [rti_india] Another Important Anouncement

Dear Ram

I am not sure now that there will actually be any.systematic
"moderation" (which were really "interventions" by a notional
moderator) from now on.

It is a chicken and egg situation here. (Of course this presumes that
the group's new objectives are somehow desirable). Will RTI be better
served by exposing the 'haramis' first and then getting on to info
exchange on RTI, or the other way about, or perhaps an alternation of
the 2 resulting in a meeting of minds?

I think there is a "trust deficit" between sections of our members.
The citizens are not convinced that the PIOs/AAs here are committed to
RTI process and vice versa. Which is a real shame because we have here
many of the true architects of the RTI Act (and also a few of those
who wrongly lay claim to it by their incessant media misuse) who are
fully willing to guide citizens on how to use it responsibly to
achieve something meaningful.

On the other hand there is always "Sarbajit's First Law of RTI" as a
fallback and which advanced ICs like M M Ansari are so sensitive in
detecting the inevitable trend.

Sarbajit.
