Re: [rti_india] Re: BJP-Congress battle over next CIC

Can we have any policy decision or high level appointment without politics?

Our Prime Minister is aggrieved that when real India is facing crisis of confidence and trust because of widespread corruption in the country, particularly in Delhi - the national capital of crime and corruption and considers congress and corruption synonyms, and protection given to the most corrupt allies in UPA-I and UPA-II, why the Supreme Court should come to the hep of the poor - justice-deprived India - real India. His complaint is that why people of real India should have faith in Supreme Court and not in failures of his Government? Till there is any so-called leader with clear image crops up, no national interest without political colour will emerge. Present crop of our politicians and bureaucrats will flourish and loot of CWG organisers and Delhi officials will continue. I can assure you that  no body will be punished for this loot after the Games as no body in the past has been punished whenever he/she made hundred of crores of rupees. The system has created protectors of the corrupt during the last four decades of misrule of the country.

Shall we have social delivery system of judgements? Whosoever comes as CVC or Central Information Commissioner(s), will not make much difference. We need Independence.

We shall have problems of Naxals or J & K protesters cropping up. The situation gives you a lesson in clear words that we can take up arms if you are not concerned with our grievances.

God may save this country and we can pray only for Independence from corruption and poverty.

An RTI Activist.

Dear Jam

Such stories are planted to give the twitterati and foolish little RTI activists (henceforth to be called "FLRA"s on this group) something to discuss.

ICs MA and ANT are not running after this post. We should know, however, that they were not "rejected" by the Selection Committee, but that the Committee could not reach a consensus and arrive at a recommendation at that time.

This story is entirely without basis and has been planted by Shailesh Gandhi's camp to defame MA and ANT. The shortlist of 5 names for the next CIC has been finalised in consultation with the Leader of Opp and the committee meeting is formally scheduled for 18.Sep.2010.
