DRI is an organization listed in second Schedule of RTI act 2005 . (
Please see bare act - second schedule - sl.no.3 ), so section 24 of
the RTI act 2005 shall apply to DRI .
u have not mentioned which specific info about the officers was sought ?.
personal info of officials of DRI does not fall within the ambit of RTI.
if info was about the corruption of officials of DRI or human rights
violations by them . U shall get the info . please file first appeal
to AA of DRI.
personal info of those periods shall be provided to you by the CPIOs
of concerned installations , the official served the term with ,
provided such installations are notnotified in second schedule . For
this file seperate RTI petitions because in the light of OM of DOPT ,
section 6(3) is almost defunct.
Please refer section 24 and second schedule of RTI act 2005.
