[HumJanenge] Whether personal information of DRI officials excluded from RTI

 

Undersigned filed RTI aplication with CPIO, CBEC requesting information regarding an Additional Commissioner, presently posted in DRI Mumbai. CPIO, CBEC transferred certain points to CPIO, DRI, Mumbai for information under Section 6(3) of RTI Act, 2005. CPIO, DRI immediately refused the information under Section 24 of Act.
 
It is requested to clarify whether the information regarding officers posted in DRI is also excluded under Section 24??
