[HumJanenge] Re: what is going on in the RTI world?

Dear Mrs Dalal

I hope you dont mind getting as many mails from me as I keep getting
from you.

1) I concur that CyberCrime Mumbai may be a waste of time.

2) How do I get off this group ? This is the official answer from
google
http://groups.google.co.in/support/bin/answer.py?hl=en-uk&answer=46608

"If you'd like to remove yourself from a Google Group ....
Reply to an email from the group with REMOVE ME as the subject of your
message."

Surely even YOU can do that !!!.

3) Who are these guys ? Well I am one of them (but not on this group).
The others are moderators or owners of various RTI groups. We are
collaborating to UNIFY various existing yahoo RTI groups on the
googlegroups platform. This includes sharing member lists with each
other. A major reason to doing this is to eliminate fake IDS and
spammers from the groups we moderate. This is akin to CIBIL which
shares info about bank defaulters. There are other reasons, such as
personality clashes between moderators of various groups. All this is
in the public domain, readable by anyone with a net connection.
http://groups.google.com/group/rti_india/browse_thread/thread/d7f882058a44bddb/f0fbcfb45f107bfc
(Please read this link carefully) It says

"Once the UNIFICATION process is complete, members of any 1 of the RTI
groups will be able to post to all the collaborating groups using
OpenID. In this way, the owners of the following OpenID groups
(RTI_India, HumJanenge and RTI4empowerment) hope that the multiple
posts which clog our member email boxes shall be greatly reduced if
not eliminated totally. We have also decided that if a member is
banned on 1 group he shall also be automatically expelled from the
other groups too. "

If you need any more help, I am here to help you.
