[rti_india] Prime Minister - Please sack Mr S Sundareshan Petroleum Secretary for corruption arbitrary selecting & favouring Mr Sarthak Behuria of Rs 42 Lakh as Advisor Petronet LNG against salary Rs 12 Lakh as Chairman IOC.

Dear Sir,

Kindly refer to the correspondence the undersigned complainant had with Petronet LNG and the documents obtained under the Right to Information Act 2005 placed below. 

Mr Sarthak Behuria, whose term as Chairman IOC was not extended and who was forced to leave on 28th February 2010 before completing the age of 60 was arbitrarily selected and appointed by Mr S Sundareshan Secretary MOP&NG himself as Advisor to Petronet LNG in which Mr S Sundareshan is Chairman of Petronet LNG. The entrire saga of sordid affairs, obtained using RTI, that unfolded in end February 2010 is placed below for kind reference.

Mr S Sundareshan committed irregularities, corrupt practices and arranged salary of Rs 42 Lakh PA to Mr Sarthak Behuria as Advisor in a very small Company Petronet LNG as compared to salary of about Rs 12 Lakh to Mr Behuria as Chairman IOC - the biggest commercial organisation of India Maharatna Company. 

In larger public interest, I hereby demand immediate sacking of IAS Officer Mr S Sundareshan as Petroleum Secretary and Chairman Petronet LNG. 

Sudden need for Advisor in Petronet  LNG in February 2010 has not been specified and the job description of Advisor has also not been made public and. Mr Behuria be forthwith removed as Advisor and salary paid to him so far be immediately recovered. 

Kindly act fast in larger public interest of cleansing the system.
