[rti_india] Re: DECISIONS OF CHIEF INFORMATION COMMISSIONER ARE NOW UPLOADED ON CIC

Dear Kuldip

There are many reasons why no constructive discussions on RTI are taking place. Let me list a few as I see them - we can certainly carry on from this.

1. The interpretive phase of RTI is over. There are no more high mountains left to climb.

2. RTI is not a tool to solve anyone's problems nor is it a tool/device to solve India's problems.

3. The entire media is corrupt.

4. The superior courts / judiciary are totally corrupt

5. The political class is corrupt through and through

6. The citizens of India (by and large) are sheep with extremely short terms memories who can be swayed by all kinds of blandishments. for eg. citizens have forgotten about CWG scam because of Adrash CHGS scam etc. etc etc.

7. There are too many well organised (and well financed) 'haramis' posing as saints on RTI groups / forums.

8. Nobody gives a damn for the country / society in general.

I could rant on and on, but whats the point ?

Ball in yr court !!!
