This is further to my public appeal to you forwarded herewith again for your kind perusal.

While Mr Wajahat Habibullah told me he has been relaxing (Wajahat Habibullah plan to spend time writing painting riding at farm in Saidanpur Barabanki Dist. UP) (http://xrl.us/bh6nn4), I understand from a reliable source that he may be made UP Governor.

You are well aware of the misdeeds of the crook, the rogue, the rascal & the scoundrel persons, who are made to occupy positions of power and then indulge into irregularities, corrupt practices and rampant, shameless, open looting of public doing terrific damage to the country.

It may kindly be appreciate that the country cannot afford to have any more Suresh Kalmadi or Sheila Dixit or MS Gill or Ketan Desai or Raju Ramalingam or Jitesh Khosla or Sarthak Behuria or MM Ansari or ND Tiwari or HR Bhardwaj or General Kapoor or Ashok Chawan or Wajahat Habibullah at power centres.

The practice of favouring such persons must stop in larger public interest.

Kindly ensure that Mr Wajahat Habibullah is not made UP Governor or not given any position of power anywhere in India or abroad.

If the New Delhi grapevine is to be believed, the UPA Government has sounded out Mr Wajahat Habibullah for the job of Governor of Jammu & Kashmir.

Mr Wajahat Habibullah, arbitrarily selected as CIC and criminally favoured throughout, who has made a mess of the Right to Information Act 2005, has abused it to deny legitimate RTI information, not punished the culprit Officers of DoPT / PMO for serious violations of RTI and seen to it that the nascent RTI is butchered in a cold-blooded murder; not established any branches of CIC in the country; not ensured that the correct no. of ICs are decided & posted to serve 120 Crore citizens; who is not found suitable to be posted as State CIC of J&K and who is also not suitable for being posted at the World Bank, cannot be suitable & cannot be selected in a secret & discretionary, non-transparent manner that is not democratic and is in serious violation of the Constitution of India for any public post. He cannot be considered suitable for gubernatorial position also as he has taken rigid stand that he is not in the business of justice & delivery of justice is the job of judiciary. Therefore, as Governor, he is not expected to do justice.

The blots in your career as the President of India, approving tainted person Mr V K Chwala as CEC; signing AIIMS Bill on dotted line in a great hurry to remove Dr Venugopal as Director AIIMS overnight; approving Padma Awards decided in the irregular & corrupt manner and recently approving Mr P J Thomas as CVC etc. are on increase and they are neither in larger public interest nor augur well for our democratic country among the world community.

I would, therefore, request not to approve any public post in India or in any country for Mr Wajahat Habibullah.

However, if the services of Mr Wajahat Habibullah are useful in resolving the vexed Kashmir issue, he should be at liberty to serve free of charge and UPA / J&K Govt can utilise his honorary services without any official post given to him.
