This is a mail that does not completely pertain to the group norms, and hence I begin by apologizing to the moderator and dear friends.
I just wanted to intimate that I have been elected as the President of IRDS (Institute for Research and Documentation in Social Sciences), a Civil society based in Lucknow. IRDS works primarily in the field of Research and documentation, Human Rights, Legal improvements, Right to Information and Education.
The organization has decided to constitute a "Core Committee" to guide and assist the organization in shaping its policy matters. It shall contain fifteen (15) persons. These persons must be highly socially aware, with some background of social work. Since all of you are naturally and deeply related with social work in your day-to-day functioning in various direct and indirect ways, hence it seems natural to me that I shall request some of you to volunteer and come out to shoulder this responsibility by getting associated with the organization as a friend, philosopher and guide to it.
