Dear Friends,

Elections will take place on Sunday 28, March 2010 between 7.00am to 5.00pm.

We propose below pointers for you to keep in mind when you are around your polling booth stations:

1.     What time maximum people are coming to cast their Vote?

2.     Are Political Parties arranging vehicles for citizens? (Everybody-old people-handicapped-specially for women)

3.     What time candidates from your ward are coming to cast their Vote?

4.     Are people aware about today is Voting day & what level of governance they are casting their vote for?

5.     How many people have returned without voting because their names are not on the voters list or there has been proxy voting?

6.     Have there been any malpractices?

7.     Have there been any efforts of any campaigning near the polling booth?

If you come across any violations kindly contact the election monitoring officers appointed by the election Commission for the particular Zones (attached herewith) or any other officials on the spot.

If you find time and willing to share with us of your experience, do write to us.
