Mr Sarbajit,
Since your car was frequently parked there due to your frequent official (and "unofficial") visits to the CIC offices, I demand that you pay back some of this amount to the exchequer !

CIC had over-paid for parking, says first audit report
New Delhi, Sep 3 (PTI) The Central Information Commission had shelled out over Rs eight lakh in excess payment to parking vendors as it could not "correctly" estimate the requirement of parking space at its office, according to the first audit of the transparency panel.
The Commission had put out an advertisement in the newspaper citing requirement of parking space for 30 vehicles.
The Housing And Urban Development Corporation Ltd (HUDCO), however, offered space for only 15 vehicles at the rate of 5,000 per vehicle per month.
"It was revealed that the Commission has only seven vehicles in their official records, whereas they incurred expenditure for 15 vehicles per month for the period from July 3, 2006 to March 31, 2008 (21 months) which resulted in excess payment amounting to Rs 8.
