Krishnaraj Rao is no Hercules. Transparency is not required in the
selection
process for appointment of Information Commissioners. KRR and his
associates
tried all these arguments in the Delhi High Court which were roundly
thrown out.
If any of KRR's friends post them to this group I shall dissect them
argument by
argument.
Yet, KRR & Co persist in repeating these rejected arguments over every
internet
forum they can find. At the end of the day what is K Co demanding - "I
have applied
to be an IC make me one". Of course this is a packaged to fool the
silly RTI activists
as "I am only putting my application to a) see how they consider
applications b) to
enable me to be party in Writ Petition thereafter".
So the 3 questions I put to K Co. are:
A) "What did you do when you were not selected as CIC/IC in Andhra
Pradesh where
you applied for the position" ?
B) Do you think that your biodata shows you are sufficiently eminent
to be an IC ?
C) Today when you say that A N Twari who passed the Civil Service
selection and
rises to head the vast Indian bureaucracy is not sufficiently
"eminent" to be a CIC,
what are your own qualifications that you felt that you can apply.
Till 2 years back
nobody in RTI had ever heard of you. Only when you retire do you seek
out these
offices of profit.
KRR can either reply directly or through his friends.
