Out of curiosity I decided to take this controversial poll for myself.
This involved my first having to register a yahoo account. Since the
new moderator of RTI_India is not taking new members while the
poll is in progress, I linked the yahoo account to my gmail ID. This
involved locating an email Yahoo had sent me 2 years ago when I
joined this group and following a link.
I found that 31 people had already voted before me, but I couldn't
see their votes. A message informed I would only be able to see the
votes cast after I vote. After carefully reviewing all the options,
I made my selection. The results now stand as below
Rao will be "persuaded" to call off his fast 8 25%
Ashok Chavan will buy Rao off 2 06%
Govt will accede to Rao's demands 2 06%
Rao will die 2 06%
Rao should die. 18 56%
Over 60% believe Rao will die. The RTI India group has so many
members from NCPRI and other large transparency organisations
such as Maja Daruwalla, Venkatesh Nayak of CHRI etc .That not
a single person from them has come out in support of the methods
used by Mr Rao while so many want him dead is something
Mr Rao's friends may want to consider while deciding their.future
course of action.
