Dear Mohd Afzal
The ORIGINAL RTI_India group list has been shifted to Googlegroups.
http://groups.google.com/group/rti_india
The new moderator of the Yahoogroup (whose name may or may not be Ashish Kumar or A.K.Kappoo, but is certainly not me) has trimmed out many NGO / RTI activist type members from RTI India (Yahoo).
The process of transiting to googlegroups was only completed 2 days back - I could only add about 90 names every day as per google rules. It is possible that your email ID was added a few days back so you could not post.
To post to the Yahoo group, you must post to "rti_india@yahoogroups.com"
To post to the google group, you must post to "rti_india@googlegroups.com"
You can also link your Yahoo ID to google (to allow you to change your settings yourself - or to unsubscribe). See this thread.

PS: If you want to discuss Krishnaraj Rao and his satyagraha, please do so on the Yahoo group.
