[rti_india] Re: Fwd: Letter to Prime Minister’s Office by Ambassador of India in US:--Illega

Dear Ajay

I am delighted that you have frankly revealed your thoughts. Every sensible and patriotic citizen of India feels as you do. But I would like to share this with you.

1) Democracy is not "supported" by pillars. These so-called pillars are the mental bars which serve to cage free roaming Tigers. If your mind recognises and accepts these bars then you have been caged / tamed.

2) If you are a Karmayogi, you will follow Vivekananda's advice and ignore all these irritants and walk around them while going about your daily life. If you are a Kriyayogi you will concentrate on these irritants and dutifully smash them to pieces before you proceed.

(NB: unfortunately the terms "Kriyayogi" and "Karmayogi" is widely distorted and misunderstood among common people.)

3) It is defeatist to say that 1 "ordinary" person can achieve nothing. Our whole existence is based on laws of (what we call) quantum physics, Our best scientific brains are willing to devote their lives, energies, moneys to searching for that 1 elusive God Particle which emerges when common particles are smashed together. Karmayogis are the conformist particles - Kriyayogis the independent God Particles which emerge out of chaos.

4) All humans are corrupt, their institutions more so. Today you say Congress is corrupt, yesterday we said BJP is corrupt, we all know that the jokers of 3rd front are the most inept at being corrupt. By accepting these institutions - Govt, Courts, parties etc you are voluntarily surrendering your individuality and becoming Karmayogi.

5) The examples you have given about Govt being responsible for disasters like Bhopal, Nuclear Plant, Jaipur etc are irrelevant - most of them are not caused by Govt. Just as crimes are not caused by Police. The job of Govt is to SUBSEQUENTLY pull the curtain over these little irritants so that good little Karmayogic citizens forget all about it in a few days and continue with daily life. Karmayogis are the sheep, chickens, stalks of wheat which are consumed daily (in huge quantities) by the impersonal (Rakshas) State.

6) If the PM is holidaying abroad - let him go there. He doesn't run this Govt. First of all we must all, all of us understand why we are so interested in Govt. Suppose one fine day Ajay Marathe wakes up and says I will have hardly anything to do with Govt, I wont pay my taxes (legally), I have no use/need for your corrupt Police, your dishonest courts, your dirty hospitals, your pathetic schools, your potholed roads etc. Then he will say, I wont read your propaganda newspapers or view your mind-numbing TV channels. After that he will say I wont contribute the information I get in RTI to anyone untrustworthy especially the media.

Once you reach this level - you will know how to use RTI very effectively to save your world and the environment.

In my view, the ruling party has become extremely arrogant & opposition almost not existing, they do not at all care about ordinary citizens, environment, animals of our country. They are leading the country towards man made disasters ( in terms of financial, food, environmental etc.)

These people are planning to put RTI queries to Indian railways, Mahrashtra Electricity board, Indian Raliways to see if they can get the names of the individuals involved. One of my friends is trying to get the issue of Maharashtra Electricity Board raised in the current winter session of Maharashtra vidhan parishad/ write to CVC about it. Also planning to pass it on to my friends in US to see if they can get more info about the same using local laws(FOI?).

Many thousands of jobs are dependent back in India on their securing foreign Govt contracts. These contracts can only be got by bribing foreigners. What would Mr Narayan Murthy (the great God of RTI touts) do ? Do you now realise why they finance silly little RTI activists to keep their mouth shut and ensure that we don't have laws like FCPA in India.
